Service Technician – Commercial Kitchen Ventilation & Controls (KVAC) Location: Boston and surrounding area Full-Time Hands-On Technical Role | Electrical & Controls Focus Nelbud is hiring a skilled Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial kitchen ventilation and control systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical and troubleshooting background who enjoys working in the field and solving complex system issues. You’ll start your day at our Moonachie shop and travel to job sites throughout the region using a company vehicle. What You’ll Do Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen exhaust and ventilation systemsTroubleshoot electrical components, motors, and control systemsDiagnose and repair rooftop ventilation unitsWork with integrated control systems and make necessary adjustmentsDeliver high-quality service while representing Nelbud on job sites What We’re Looking For Strong electrical background with experience troubleshooting motors and controls in a commercial setting (required)Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, or integrated control systemsFamiliarity with BACnet or similar ventilation/control systems (preferred)Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex issuesAbility to work independently in the field Additional Requirements Valid driver’s licenseAbility to work a flexible schedule as neededComfortable working in tight spaces and at heightsWillingness to travel within the region (company vehicle provided) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experienceCompany vehicle provided for job site travelPTO and paid holidaysMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) with company matchOngoing training and development opportunities Why Nelbud?
