Service Tech- Flooring Solutions
About the role
As a Service Technician supporting United Rentals' Flooring and Facilities Solutions Division, you will perform maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and assist with equipment pick-up and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance checks on rental flooring equipment before and after use
- Report machine condition to Management
- Perform repairs of rental flooring equipment as needed, including checking electrical continuity, wiring faults, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status
- Demonstrate equipment for customers
- Aid with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Basic knowledge of electrical equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
