RichSmith Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer offering a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including: Medical Benefits beginning the 1st of the month following 30 days of employmentHealth, Dental & Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA/HSA)401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesSupportive team environment Key Responsibilities As An Apartment Service Technician, You Will Perform daily maintenance and repairs throughout the community.Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including make-ready repairs.Perform preventative maintenance on apartments, buildings, and equipment.Maintain the appearance of the community, including grounds and common areas.Assist with pool operation and maintenance, where applicable.Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop.Participate in the community's 24-hour emergency on-call rotation.Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with residents and team members.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience with an emphasis on repairs, maintenance, and customer service.General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC systems.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation. Preferred HVAC or EPA Certification.Pool operation and maintenance experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and work in confined spaces.Ability to climb ladders and stairs.Ability to reach overhead for extended periods.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
