Service Tech

Join our team as a Full-time Service Technician at our vibrant apartment community in Lake Charles, LA.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Community Manager and carry out all maintenance tasks for the property.
• Address service requests promptly and efficiently.
• Perform pool care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, and preventive maintenance on a daily basis.
• Handle electrical and mechanical aspects of appliance repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Demonstrate competency in electricity, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems.
• Availability for on-call duty related to our 24-hour routine maintenance guarantee.

Requirements

• HVAC or EPA certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in pool operation and maintenance is advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist into small areas.
• Capable of reaching overhead for extended periods, particularly during overhead repair work.
