About the Role

As a Trek Service Technician/Advisor, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You’ll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes on the spot, install accessories customers select for their new bike, and be the first to handle brand-new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly. This role closely supports the Service Manager and serves as the face of the department to customers when the Service Manager is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of bicycles
• Install accessories for customers’ new bikes
• Handle and service brand-new bike models before they reach the sales floor
• Build and maintain customer relationships through trust and expertise
• Serve as the primary customer contact for the service department in the absence of the Service Manager
• Communicate with customers to evaluate issues and recommend repairs
• Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and a willingness to assist with any task

• Impressive attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving
• Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles, including new technologies and methods
