Service Tech 1

About the role

Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. They also serve as a technical resource for both customers and sales personnel.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors
• Provide technical support to customers and sales representatives
• Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment
• Act as a primary customer contact

Requirements

• Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently in a field environment
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds
• Pre-employment drug test and clean driving record required
• DOT physical required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check

Pay

The base pay range for this position in USA-NY-Cheektowaga is $24.50-$33.70 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. A bonus opportunity may be provided as part of the compensation package.
