The Service Team Member ensures "Best in Class" customer service from start to finish.

Our Company: In 1980 the first American El Pollo Loco opened on Alvarado Street in Los Angeles, quickly becoming a destination for the best citrus-marinated, fire-grilled pollo. Over the past four decades, we have grown to more than 490 restaurants (and counting!) across 7 states, becoming an L.A. mainstay and cultural benchmark along the way.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management to achieve operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards.
• Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Continuously strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
• Assist in preparing food items in strict compliance with company recipes and procedures. May include, but not limited to, the preparation/assembly of various menu items, shredding chicken, preparing salsa/dressing, and condiment packing.
• Process and assemble customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Apply suggestive selling techniques to complete the customer experience and increase sales.
• Handle payment and cash transactions accurately and professionally, scrupulously following all El Pollo Loco cash handling policies and procedures.
