Service Support/Equipment Detailer

Responsibilities

• Assists the Service Manager and technicians in the efficient operation of the department
• Cleans, organizes and maintains the condition of shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Affords assistance to service technicians as needed, including delivery of parts
• Affords assistance to service technicians with repairing, servicing and moving equipment
• Might participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Responsible for cleanliness of lot and maintaining landscaping of the store grounds.

Requirements

• A valid Indiana driver’s license
• Must be able to operate residential & large farm equipment
• Be able to climb up and down equipment
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Be able to operate a pickup truck w/trailer for lawn & garden deliveries
• Be on time every day

Hours

Monday – Friday 7:30 to 5:00
Saturday-as needed 7:30 to 12:00
Two 15 minute breaks
One hour lunch
