About the role

The Service Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the service department, ensuring all service calls, inspections, and maintenance tasks are scheduled, completed, and documented to the highest quality standards. This role maintains daily contact with technicians, coordinates schedules, resolves issues, and ensures that both team members and customers are supported. The Service Supervisor also conducts regular training sessions to improve technical and service skills within the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily service and inspection activities.
• Ensure all service calls are completed on time and in accordance with company standards and contractual agreements.
• Maintain daily communication with technicians to provide direction, updates, and support.
• Conduct regular training sessions to develop technical knowledge and improve customer service performance.
• Collaborate with technicians and coordinators to quickly identify and resolve service-related issues.
• Prepare accurate reports on service performance, inspections, and customer feedback.
• Ensure the service team has the proper tools, equipment, and resources to succeed.
• Promote and enforce adherence to safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Support customer satisfaction by handling escalations and ensuring timely resolution of service concerns.
• Work with management to implement process improvements that enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required but are not necessarily all-inclusive.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in fire, security, or life safety service/inspection roles.
• Prior experience in a leadership, team lead, or supervisory capacity strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of service operations, inspections, and scheduling processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and service platforms (e.g., FieldHub or similar).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay

Pay range for this role is $52,000-$60,000 per year.
