About the role

This position includes scheduling and prioritizing work performed in the Bolivar Hydraulic Cylinder Shop, assisting in providing quotes for customers, reviewing work orders prior to invoicing, and handling phone calls from internal and external customers. You will assist in implementing company policies and business strategies related to Complete Hydraulic Component Service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive knowledge of Hydraulic Cylinder mechanical repair procedures and their applications.
• Provide superior customer service and product support by managing all aspects of the service department.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, employees, sales teams, and various internal departments.
• Handle daily customer calls regarding pricing, scheduling, technical information, warranty contracts, equipment transportation, and other service-related issues.
• Focus on safety behaviors and activities to drive zero incidents and injuries, adhering to all Ohio Machinery safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Three to five years’ experience in hydraulic component repair: cylinder, pump, motor, and/or valve.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic cylinders.
• Two to five years’ prior supervisory experience.
• Ability to handle multiple work assignments.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and technician assignments.
• Ability to work closely with internal and external customers to ensure a quality product.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 9:30pm–7:00am

Physical Requirements

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a computer keyboard. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
