Service Shop Foreman

About the Role

Direct the day-to-day operation of a service ship with a diverse product line. Coordinate repairs of customer vehicles with the Service Manager and Service Advisors. Meet time schedules, maintain productivity levels of technicians, and uphold quality standards while ensuring a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all estimates for jobs to maintain profitability
• Review repair orders for accuracy
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Work closely with Service Manager and Service Advisors
• Supervise technicians in the repair of customer vehicles
• Supervise workflow in the shop to maintain efficiency
• Supervise maintenance of shop equipment and tooling
• Supervise technicians in maintaining current training and certifications
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years' related experience and/or training
• Prior supervisory and/or management experience is a plus
• Previous experience with a commercial dealership; Freightliner experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail
