Service Scheduler/Coordinator/BDC

About the Role

Heritage Ford seeks a service scheduler to coordinate daily maintenance and repair appointments for technicians. This administrative professional acts as the voice of the dealership, communicating directly with customers through phone, email, text, and chat. The role places a high emphasis on listening, detail, accuracy, and concern for service customers, matching them to appropriate technician skill levels while managing cancellations and filling the day with the best alternatives.

Job Duties

• Scheduling and confirming service appointments via phone, email, or text
• Scheduling and coordinating pickup and delivery of service customer vehicles
• Answer phone calls, emails, and text messages
• Coordinate with fellow staff members about schedules, service customers, and any changes
• Resolve schedule conflicts as they occur
• Sharing time critical information between service advisors, parts advisors, and managers

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Proficient with texting and emailing
• Ability to smoothly share information and coordinate events with staff throughout the dealership
• Capable of learning our information management systems (xTime, VINSOLUTIONS, RedCap)
