About the role
The Service Response Center Representative answers and processes a variety of service-related requests from patients, visitors, and hospital employees while ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answers all incoming customer inquiries and requests and transfers matter when appropriate.
- Enters appropriate and precise information to patient accounts.
- Escalates customer concerns when necessary to obtain a resolution.
- Reaches out to customers, providers, and other entities.
- Provides verbal and written directions to customers.
- Identifies and assesses patient needs and provides resources.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license.
- Certification and Licensing: Refer to department description for applicable certification requirements.
- Experience: No previous experience required.
