About the Role

The regional Service Representative for the corrections division acts as an extended arm of our customer service department. This role maintains existing accounts in the assigned territory (or other areas as needed), assists the Sales Director and team in streamlining communication, produces an efficient workflow for customers, and manages customer relationships within correctional facilities. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Location: This is a territory-based position with frequent travel. Candidates based in the Midwest (IL, MI, MN, MO, etc.) are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Sales Director.
  • Partner and deliver prompt and frequent communication with the internal team and clients.
  • Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by establishing and maintaining excellent customer service and integrating customer needs within our organization.
  • Partner with all departments to successfully resolve client requirements.
  • Leverage all tools and resources (including data, sales portal (CRM), marketing department, technical team, and regional/national resources as needed).
  • Provide updates and continuing education by frequently visiting clients.
  • Gather key information from clients to effectively communicate critical details.
  • Work closely with the billing department to secure accurate information for submitting and collecting claims.
  • Assist the Sales Director with local, regional, and national conferences and bids as needed.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and effectively manage schedules to meet client needs.
  • Act in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a multi-agency background check.
  • Team player who embraces diversity, adapts to change, and is comfortable learning new systems and processes.
  • High School diploma, Technical School, or Associate Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMA, Lab Tech, Phlebotomy, or Lab Customer experience.
  • Prior customer service and problem-solving expertise in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
