Service Project Manager 1
Responsibilities
- Communicate issues and solutions in a timely manner.
- Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on the program effort.
- Manage the activities of the project team.
- Provide direction and mentoring to project team members.
- Plan solidly and interface with many different internal and external organizations.
- Quickly adjust priorities and schedules based on needs.
- Ensure cross‑discipline integration within the contract to meet Government requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in at least two of the following areas: acquisition, processing, analysis, and reporting.
- Alternatively, an Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience managing projects in large‑scale technical IT operations, including event monitoring and management, security services, IP telephony, video teleconferencing, and implementation of new equipment and services.
- Solid understanding of highly technical environments and equipment; ability to communicate and collaborate with IT professionals performing systems engineering and administration.
- Ability to quickly adjust priorities and schedules as needed.
- TS/SCI FSP level clearance required for work with the Maryland customer.
