The Service Porter at Volvo Cars Seattle plays a crucial role in ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Move and stage vehicles between lot locations, service bays, and the service drive safely and efficiently
- Greet guests on the service drive with a friendly and professional presence
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in the service department
- Keep the service drive, lot, and common areas clean, organized, and ready for guests at all times
- Aid service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and staging to keep the workflow moving without delays
- Perform vehicle wash and detail duties as needed to support delivery readiness
- Support the service team with general tasks that keep the department operating at full speed
Requirements
- No prior automotive experience required, but training will be provided to the right candidate
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to remain on your feet and stay active throughout your shift
- Moves with a sense of urgency and takes pride in doing the job right every time
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right every time
- A friendly and professional presence with guests
Qualifications
- Passionate about hospitality and customer service
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
