About the role
Fox Toyota Lexus is looking for a dependable Service Porter to support our Service Department and provide a great first impression for our guests. If you enjoy staying active, working around vehicles, and being part of a fast-paced team, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and escort them to the appropriate service team member
- Park vehicles in designated areas and retrieve vehicles for customers
- Keep the service drive organized, clean, and free of congestion
- Communicate with Service Advisors or Managers when customers are waiting
- Follow all dealership policies related to vehicle care and safety
- Assist with moving inoperable vehicles as directed
- Report any vehicle damage immediately to management
- Support cleanliness and organization of the service drive and service department
- Assist with washing company or customer vehicles as needed
- Help with other service-related tasks to support team operations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet throughout the shift
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical & Work Environment
- Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure to weather conditions
