Service Porter

We are looking for a people-focused Service Porter to ensure the smooth operation of our dealership's service department. This role is the first point of contact for customers arriving at our facility, requiring strong hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm smile and direct them to the appropriate advisor
• Actively listen to customers to provide a bespoke experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service department, including service bays, waiting areas, and workstations
• Move vehicles to and from service areas, ensuring they are parked in designated areas
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles to customers upon completion of service
• Assist service advisors or technicians with retrieving parts or tools as needed
• Monitor and replenish supplies in the service department
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a service or automotive setting is preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of $15 to $17, paid semimonthly.
