Service Porter

About the role

Ed Morse Automotive Group, with 80+ years of industry experience and over 60 locations across FL, TX, OK, MO, MT, IL, IA, CO, and AZ, is seeking a Service Porter to maintain vehicle inventory appearance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain new and used vehicle inventory by cleaning interiors and exteriors, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager.
• Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and remove containers from work areas.
• Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Make key tags for vehicles.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Neat appearance and strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Must complete a pre-employment background screening, including a background check and drug screen.

Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
