About the role
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Must possess valid state license.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair various types of plumbing fixtures and systems
- Perform routine maintenance on existing plumbing systems
- Respond to emergency calls to fix plumbing issues
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state plumbing license
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Skills
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
