PCB manufactures sensors used by design engineers and predictive maintenance professionals to test and measure vibration, pressure, force, acoustics, load and shock for test, measurement, monitoring and control requirements. Responsibilities

  • Follow established procedures and perform a number of basic tasks in the etching or laser welding of transducers.
  • Cooperate as a team member of the department to help best serve the needs of the customer.
  • Know and use proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.
  • Comply with all aspects of the ISO 9001, AS 9100 standards.
  • Refer to travelers, engineering travelers, special instructions and miscellaneous forms for procedures and instructions to perform necessary tasks.
  • Understand and promote our quality statement of "Total Customer Satisfaction."
  • Operate department equipment.
  • Enter new model numbers or any changes in existing model numbers programs.
  • Verify conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to company specifications.
  • Perform leak tests and connector weld strength verification tests on laser welds when required.
  • Write legibly, sign and date traveler when steps are completed.
  • Work with other technicians, engineers, and departments.
  • Communicate with supervisors, lead persons and other production departments concerning any problems with product, assembly, documentation, and/or schedule.
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment calibration stickers are not expired before using and notify supervisor or lead person if expired or close to expiration.
  • Inspect all workmanship and special processes of an operation that was performed ensuring quality before handing into next operation.
  • Show commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.
  • Provide information to supervisor and co-workers to positively affect quality and output.
  • Maintain neat and orderly work area.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: 1-3 years or equivalent.

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M).
