Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load collated or hand-assembled runs on transport table(s).
  • Verify count and finish designations of each run.
  • Transport runs to the presses without incurring any press lost time.
  • Return pattern boards to the pattern racks or assembly.
  • Deliver any left off or damaged pattern replacements to the press.
  • Inspect rolling stock, change batteries as needed, and report any maintenance issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable to work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
  • Must be trained to operate lowboy lift.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Work reading and understanding production schedules.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle to read assembly decorative issue screen and pattern pull screens.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High School Graduate or GED.
  • Experience: 1+ years of layup experience in assembly, custom laminate or pressing.

Physical Requirements

  • Heavy work - Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling material 50 to 100 pounds.
  • Position consists of working rotating shift work to include weekends.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • One (1) year layup experience in assembly, custom laminate or pressing.
  • If no applicants possess this experience, the Company will accept six (6) months manufacturing experience.
