Service Operations Coordinator - ONSITE

About the role

As the Service Operations Coordinator at Leica Microsystems, you will serve as the primary liaison between customers, Field Service Engineers, and internal teams. Your role is pivotal in ensuring timely service execution and delivering an outstanding customer experience. This fully onsite position reports to the Sr. Customer Support Manager and is part of the Technical Service team. You will work from either our Deerfield, IL or Waltham, MA facilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and web-to-case channels.
• Manage customer quotes, purchase orders, and service requests.
• Coordinate service scheduling, work orders, and parts orders.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and SAP.
• Communicate service updates and resolve customer issues through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in customer service, dispatching, service coordination, or order management.
• 1 year experience with Salesforce, SAP, or similar business systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.

Pay

The hourly range for this role is $28.00 - $31.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
