Job Title: Service now Software Architect Advanced Job Location: Columbia, SC Position Type: W2 Contract Duration: 12 months Primary Skills: ServiceNow platform management and development, large-scale ServiceNow environment administration, ITSM concepts and framework, server API development, PowerShell, forms and workflow creation and enhancement, cloud integration, third-party integrations, process automation, multi-cloud resource provisioning and governance, system updates, cloning, security administration, environment promotion Preferred Skills: ITIL implementation, ServiceNow unified framework for multi-cloud governance, self-service feature development, technical requirements gathering Position Overview Under limited supervision, the employee will design, develop, test, configure, implement, and provide top-level support for the ServiceNow platform used by ITSM stakeholders. The employee will research third-party/cloud solutions to ensure successful integration of the technology and provide knowledge transfer to team members. They will be a deep application and technology skillset subject matter expert. The role plays a critical role in mentoring Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers to ensure future talent growth. Daily Duties / Responsibilities Maintain the three environments (Dev, Test, Production) of ServiceNow, including configurations, changes, system updates, promotions, cloning, and security. Create, maintain, and enhance forms, workflows, cloud integration, and third-party integrations to the ServiceNow platform, including automation and/or additional self-service features and functions. Incorporate ServiceNow capabilities to create a unified framework for multi-cloud resource provisioning and governance. Utilize the ServiceNow toolset to enhance workflow for process automation. Research third-party/cloud solutions to ensure successful integration of the technology. Provide knowledge transfer to team members. Mentor Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers. Required Skills Strong knowledge and experience managing/developing a large-scale ServiceNow environment ITSM concepts and framework Server API development PowerShell Preferred Skills Hands-on experience implementing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Experience gathering technical requirements from customers Experience building self-service features and functions Additional Skills Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to communicate and gather technical requirements from customers Ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, users, management, vendors, and other officials Required Education A bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, computer science, management of information science, or related field, and two years of hands-on experience with implementing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), OR an associate degree in communications, business administration, computer science, management information science or a related field and four years of hands-on experience with implementing ITIL.
