Essential Functions
- Accountable for the guest experience: Ensure the restaurant is opened and closed with the highest standards and provide a fantastic experience.
- Communication with your team: Set expectations and give daily direction to your team through effective communication.
- FOH team development: Develop, grow, train, and refine your team in our values, standards, and stories.
- Event Support: Understand events and be able to run any event. Participate in location leadership meetings.
- People management: Use our people and performance tools to effectively communicate, manage, check in, support, hold accountable, and follow through with the team.
- Financial Performance: Be part of the leadership team responsible for the financial performance of the unit, manage FOH COGS, inventory, and labor costs, and implement ideas to increase revenue.

- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, inspire, and develop teams; hire, train, and retain high-performing staff; resolve conflicts and handle issues effectively.
- Financial & Business Acumen: Manage P&L to drive revenue and profitability; control costs, including inventory management, labor costs, and waste reduction.
- Customer Experience & Brand Management: Create a consistent and amazing guest experience; understand customer preferences, menu development, and special events; ensure the taproom aligns with company values and brand.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Troubleshoot staffing shortages, supply chain issues, or unexpected operational challenges; make quick, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment; adapt to market trends, seasonal shifts, and evolving customer expectations.
- Technical & Industry Knowledge: Understand draft systems, beer production, and bar operations; familiar with POS systems, scheduling software, other restaurant software; knowledgeable about beer styles, food pairings, and proper service techniques.
Supervisory Responsibility
- Supervise all Front of The House Staff.
- Work closely with Back of the House Leadership to ensure Big Grove operates efficiently.
