What is this role about?

The Service Managers play a key leadership role in our local Terminix branches. This role is all about leading and motivating our local Pest Technician Teams to provide outstanding service delivery of Terminix products to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective and efficient operation of the Pest Technician Team
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met or exceeded
  • Respond to customer concerns, including resolving cancellation requests
  • Inspect and evaluate the performance of Pest Technicians
  • Maintain inventory levels of pest control products
  • Facilitate continual training of local sales and service teams

Requirements

  • An associate’s degree (a four-year degree is highly desirable)
  • A valid driver's license from state of residence
  • One to two years of related experience is very helpful, but not required
  • Willingness to relocate is highly desirable
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate others
  • Strong communications skills – impersonal, written, presenting
  • Good problem-solving and solution-finding abilities
  • Ability to build rapport easily and establish trust with customers and employees
  • Detailed orientation and understanding of the importance of safety
  • A good aptitude for basic/intermediate math—necessary for doing calculations related to sales and service
