Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a team of 12 employees. Team is very strong, established and works well with each other.
• Responsible for hiring, motivating and developing diesel technicians
• Complete profit and loss responsibilities including expense control and attainment of revenue goals
• Maintain superior customer service (CSI) through dealership culture
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships
• Growth of the service department sales business, build rapport with customers & enjoy doing business with customers & venders
• Provide training and support to team
• Supervise a very talented department (Technicians, Warranty Specialist, Service Advisors)

Qualifications

• Consistent track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Knowledge of ADP (CDK) - preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of automotive experience - preferred
• Minimum 5 years of Management experience – required
• Excellent communication, common sense and problem solving
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Professional and work ethic
• Ambitious, goal oriented, and able to work within a dynamic & fun environment
• Great Leader & Hard working
• Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
