As Service Manager, you’ll prepare the restaurant for service, coach and support team members, uphold operational standards, and ensure every guest receives a memorable experience. The ideal candidate remains calm under pressure, responds urgently to challenges, and fosters a positive, accountable environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $65,000–$80,000 per year, plus bonus

Experience and Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a similar style and volume
- Demonstrated ability to lead shifts, coach team members and maintain strong hospitality and operational standards
- Genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain cool, calm and collected under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with team members, managers, guests and vendor partners
- Working knowledge of OpenTable, 7shifts, Microsoft Office or similar restaurant-management software is preferred
- Working knowledge of applicable food safety, alcohol service, sanitation and workplace safety requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Key Responsibilities
Business Driver
- Lead successful shifts through thoughtful preparation, clear communication and consistent follow-through
- Support daily front-of-house operations while ensuring standards, systems and procedures are executed consistently
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities and ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service
- Monitor sales, labor, staffing and productivity throughout each shift and make appropriate adjustments when necessary
- Support scheduling, inventory, ordering and cost-control responsibilities within your assigned Area of Responsibility
- Maintain accountability for service execution, restaurant appearance, cleanliness and operational readiness
- Communicate operational questions, concerns and opportunities to the General Manager promptly
- Protect a safe, organized and healthy work environment for team members and guests
Curator of Experiences
- Deliver Genuine Texas Hospitality by maintaining a visible presence and engaging personally with guests
- Create a welcoming environment that makes every guest feel at home and gives them a reason to return
- Conduct regular table visits and restaurant walkthroughs to evaluate guest satisfaction, service quality and operational standards
- Monitor the quality, presentation and timely delivery of food and beverages
- Respond to guest concerns promptly, professionally and with sound judgment
- Authorize discounts or complimentary items in accordance with policies
- Support special events, activations and other Texas-sized experiences throughout the restaurant
- Partner with the culinary and bar teams to ensure a seamless experience from arrival through departure
People Champion
- Train, coach and develop team members to meet hospitality, productivity and performance expectations
- Motivate the team through meaningful recognition, engagement and opportunities for growth
- Create and maintain a positive, uplifting and accountable work environment
- Ensure team members have the knowledge, tools and resources needed to perform successfully
- Celebrate team wins and address opportunities through fair, timely and consistent feedback
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members
- Communicate team member concerns and performance issues to the General Manager promptly
- Lead with a “Posse Over Person” mentality that prioritizes collaboration and shared success
