Service Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead talent recruitment, training, and development in partnership with the Area Sales Manager to maintain staffing levels, achieve sales goals, and complete coaching, performance documentation, and field training programs.
- Manage area contribution EBITDA performance by developing, monitoring, and adjusting budgets to meet or exceed U.S. Sales and Service profitability objectives.
- Drive market share growth through annual marketing plans, clear communication, and coordinated staff efforts, with a focus on building and maintaining income from large herds across the area and U.S. market.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed budgeted unit, dollar, and service sales goals for GENEX dairy, beef, GenChoice™ semen, and services.
- Develop and implement resale product sales plans, including marketing strategies, execution procedures, and product education and sales training for current and new offerings.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety and animal welfare standards by partnering with HR and Safety leadership, delivering education, enforcing safe work practices, maintaining equipment, and reporting and investigating incidents.
Requirements
- Must be able to artificially inseminate (A.I.) cows.
- Will need to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis to transport semen tanks or resale products.
- Strong dairy background with experience working with large herds and experience in heat detection on large farms.
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Aggressive sales and service person who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop both personally and professionally.
- Computer skills are required; and ability to work with herd management software is a plus.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The Service Manager will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional travel to different areas of New York.
