Service Manager
About the role
The Service Manager at Anderson Equipment Company is responsible for leading the branch service department and overseeing technicians and mechanics who work in the shop and the field.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technicians and mechanics who work in the shop and the field.
- Maintain the Company’s rental fleet, perform scheduled maintenance or warranty work, diagnose, and repair customer equipment.
- Work with the Branch and Parts Managers to coordinate cost-effective, reliable service for customers.
- Ensure safety, responsiveness, and professionalism are prioritized.
- Drive to job and customer sites to meet with potential buyers and customers.
- Be ultimately responsible for revenue and gross margin growth, and profitable operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in Service Department.
- 5+ years of work experience with P&L responsibility and achievement of profitable results.
- Proven track record in training, scheduling, and managing field technicians.
- Strong technical competence in mechanical functions and specialized equipment repair.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to service operations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay
Compensation Range depends on Manager’s ability to achieve profit and bonus targets: $80,000-$100,000. Compensation consists of salary and bonuses based on achieving annual targets.
