Maintenance and Repair

• Perform trade work, such as carpentry or painting in the repair or alteration of structures.
• Work with manufacturing or engineering in the installation and repair of building, plumbing and wiring required in the production process.
• Make periodic or special inspections of the premises to determine repair work necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance, filter changes, and troubleshooting on a variety of systems, including chilled water, steam boilers, pumps, exhaust fans, natural gas, fire protection systems, compressed air, and hydraulics.
• Work from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, served an apprenticeship, or 4 years of minimum verifiable experience.
• Certification in HVAC and certification in the use, storage, and handling of all controlled refrigerants are required.
