About the role
Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is seeking a 2nd Shift Facilities Janitor for its Camarillo, CA location.
Responsibilities
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
- Empty all recycling containers and place material in proper location.
- Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
- Dust furniture, walls and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
- Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
- Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.
- Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
- Notify managers concerning the need for repairs.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Six (6) months or more related experience.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Must be able to do the following:
- Sitting 10%, standing/walking 90% of the shift.
- Lifting and carry up to 50 Ibs.

Pay
Hourly Rate (Non-Exempt): $17.50 - $18.25 + $.75 Shift Differential

Training Schedule
Training Schedule (1 week): 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
