About the role

The Service Line Quality Supervisor for Cardiovascular and Neurosciences operates under the direction of the Director of Quality, providing operational leadership and coordination for quality infrastructure across Riverside Health.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day supervisory oversight of service line quality team including onboarding, orientation and mentoring, performance management, workflow coordination, and ongoing staff development.
  • Serves as a key liaison among service line leadership, physicians, nursing, operational teams, and quality staff, driving continuous improvement, supporting strategic growth, and maintaining accreditation readiness.
  • Supports implementation of new service line initiatives, registry expansion, program development, and standardization of quality infrastructure across all acute care facilities.
  • Facilitates multidisciplinary quality and performance improvement meetings, including development of agendas, dashboards, presentations, and action item tracking.
  • Collaborates with physicians, nursing, and operational leadership to identify improvement opportunities and participates in root cause analyses, readmission and mortality reviews, and supports development and implementation of corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversees registry operations across all applicable cardiovascular and neuroscience registries including data abstraction, validation, submission, and quality management and reporting.
  • Supports accreditation and regulatory readiness activities including, but not limited to, DNV Stroke Certification, Chest Pain Center, Blue Distinction Spine Surgery, CMS reporting, and Premier metrics across system facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Related Field (Preferred)
  • 1 year Experience with national clinical registries and accreditation readiness and management. (Required)
  • 2 years Supervisory or leadership experience. (Required)
  • 2 years Healthcare quality, clinical operations, registry management, accreditation, or performance improvement experience. (Required)
  • 3-4 years Cardiovascular, neuroscience, critical care, or acute care experience. (Required)

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality management principles, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and clinical registry operations.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular and neuroscience service line operations, quality metrics, evidence-based practice guidelines, and performance improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, operational leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and external organizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to independently analyze data, identify trends, develop recommendations, and support implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office platforms (including excel) and/or Google Suite platforms.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Department of Health Professions (Required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days (Required)
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) - National Association of Healthcare Quality Healthcare Quality Certification Board within 1 Year (Preferred)

Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Pay

Hiring Range $91,000.00 - $125,125.00/Annual

Schedule

Some flexibility is required as the schedule is based around the patient’s procedure.
