Service Line Leader - Hematology/Oncology

Position Overview: Serve as Service Line Leader in Hematology/Oncology, providing strategic direction and leadership within a major academic cancer program. This role involves shaping clinical strategy, fostering subspecialty interests, and leading teaching, mentoring, and research initiatives. Key Responsibilities Grow and develop the Hematology-Oncology division with opportunities for subspecialization.Define and implement clinical and operational strategies across the division.Deliver patient-centered oncology care in diverse settings with access to a large referral network.Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows in academic environments.Engage in meaningful research, including clinical trials and translational projects. Qualifications & Skills Leadership experience in hematology or oncology preferred.Strong clinical expertise in hematology and oncology subspecialties.Ability to develop and execute strategic goals in an academic setting.Excellent teaching, mentorship, and research capabilities.Balanced approach to clinical duties and protected academic time.
