Service Line Chief

About the role

The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center is seeking an accomplished physician leader to serve as Service Line Chief at the Cape Girardeau VA Health Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Lead with purpose, practice with impact, and serve those who served. Lead multidisciplinary clinical services while maintaining clinical practice in your specialty. Preferred specialties include Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Radiology, General Surgery, and Urology, with additional specialties considered. Physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Primary Care, and Emergency Medicine will also be considered.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship (non‑citizens may be appointed only when qualified citizens cannot be recruited per VA policy).
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from a school approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year of study.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary
