Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served. You will oversee a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment and ensure the restaurant crew is well-trained and provides excellent customer service. This position requires you to be on your feet while clocked in, proactively assisting with tasks when not directly busy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by:
  • Ensuring hand washing and glove changes
  • Monitoring time and temperature on the line
  • Monitoring secondary shelf lives
  • Completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist and following food safety policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties, including:
  • Banking and cash handling policies
  • Office paperwork
  • Maintaining office equipment and ordering supplies
• Ensure proper quantity of supplies is available

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $19.05–$21.19 per hour. This position is also eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle offers a competitive benefits package.
