Service & Install Technician - Fish Aquariums & Bird Aviaries

About the role

Serenity Aquarium & Aviary Services is seeking an energetic and qualified individual to join our team. This entry-level position involves servicing aquariums and aviaries in senior communities, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare offices. The role requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly, with occasional out-of-state travel.

Requirements

• Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
• Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
• Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
• Able to travel in your service area radius
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
• Flexibility is a must!
• High School education is required
• Driver’s License required
• Will require you to pass a DOT physical before a job offer can be made.

Pay

Starting at $20 per hour with higher pay rate while traveling and out of the office work. Total compensation should be around $45k-$55K your first year.
