About the role

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service General Manager who embodies enthusiasm, results-driven mindset, and forward-thinking principles. This role involves managing and leading the company's service business and operations, coaching and training the sales force, and developing strategies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management and leadership of the CTC’s service business and operations activities.
  • Selling and effectively implementing service sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and margin goals, and maximizing service delivery to meet customer satisfaction goals.
  • Coaching, counseling, and training the sales force to improve individual service selling skills.
  • Developing and implementing operations strategies that improve service delivery and add value to customers in a cost-effective manner.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience selling and delivering service contracts and T&M services.
  • Able to act as a role model, guide, develop, and mentor others within the Service Department.
  • Broad-based professional knowledge of security hardware, alarm and video surveillance systems, electronic security issues, and safeguards.
  • Advanced team leadership, team building, and facilitation skills.

Requirements

  • Education: College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum Experience: 5-7 years relevant service leadership.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

Pay

The anticipated compensation of this position is $100,000 - $130,000 annual salary plus an annual incentive plan. Please note that this job posting includes salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region the requisition is posted. If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the job, department, and location, as well as the individual skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, and education of the applicant.
