Service Financial Advisor

Job Summary

Advus Financial Partners is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Service Financial Advisor to join their team in Winter Park, FL.

Essential Functions

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and service. Lead client meetings and reviews, including financial plan updates and investment consultations.
• Financial Planning & Advisory: Develop, analyze, and implement customized financial plans aligned with client goals and objectives.
• Advisor Support: Partner with lead advisors to prepare and refine comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Execution & Operations: Coordinate with internal teams (operations, portfolio management, etc.) to ensure accurate, timely implementation of financial strategies.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with advisors, compliance, and operations teams to deliver seamless client service and consistent execution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong understanding of investment products and financial planning principles.
• Proven ability to independently manage client relationships.
• Experience working within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in wealth management or investment advisory.
• CFP® designation (obtained or in progress), preferred.
• Experience with financial planning and portfolio platforms (e.g., MoneyGuidePro, Black Diamond, Morningstar, Bloomberg), preferred.
