Service Engineer - Analyzer
Job Description
To provide advanced technical support for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process analyzers and associated systems in refinery and oil & gas facilities.
The role focuses on ensuring high reliability, safety, and performance of analyzer systems across multi-vendor environments. Receives and processes customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered, and supports customers through specialized technical or scientific knowledge/product applications.
Maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff, particularly those focused on technical applications of the product or service. Uses technical knowledge of products, product availability, sales territories, and individual customers to provide a key communications link to the customer. May handle multiple product markets.
Qualification And Experience
- Engineering in Instrumentation & Control or equivalent/Diploma in Electronics/instrumentation.
- Work experience on working with Gas Chromatograph, Gas & Liquid analyzer maintenance work, site startup, commissioning, and engineering.
- Hands on experience of Yokogawa field instruments is must.
- Sounding knowledge on Analytical products (GC, NIR, TDLS, IR, O2, pH, Cond, DO2 and other liquid analyzers).
- 5 - to 9 years as service engineer or as Instrumentation/Maintenance engineer for Field instruments.

- With Handson The role requires strong working experience in multi-vendor analyzer systems, including but not limited to:
- Gas Chromatographs (GC): Yokogawa GC8000, Emerson / Daniel – 500 Series, Siemens / Valmet – Maxum II, SITRANS CVABB – Process Gas Chromatograph PGC2000 / PGC5000, Schneider / Foxboro – 9XX Series
- Continuous Gas Analyzers (CGA): Yokogawa IR400/IR200, Sick- GMS800 Series, Siemens – Ultramat 6, Oxymat 6, Calomat 6, ABB – AO2000 Series, Emerson / Rosemount – 815 Series, Teledyne – Process Gas Analyzers
- Liquid / Water Quality Analyzers: Yokogawa – FLXA 21, 202, 402 pH, Conductivity, DO, E&H- Liquiline Series
- Ambient Air Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS): Yokogawa, SICK, Durag, Siemens, ABB, Ametek – CEMS Packages
- Physical Property Analyzers: ICON- RVPATAC Analyzer, Bartec Benke – Flash Point / Distillation / CFPP, ABB – RVP 4100, COSA – Wobbe Index / Calorimeter
- Specialty Analyzers: Yokogawa NIR, Thermo Fisher – Prima DB (Mass Spectrometer), ABB – FTPA2000 (FT-NIR), Ametek – NSL 880 (Tail Gas), 990 / SOLA II (Sulfur Analyzer)
- Moisture / Dew Point Analyzers: MITCHELcosaGE Panametrics, Ametek 5000 Series, Gas Detection Systems, MSA, Dräger, Det-Tronics
- Gas Detection Systems: MSA, Dräger, Det-Tronics
Physical Requirements
Typically requires relevant experience, completion of technical product training, and demonstration of high-level product and process knowledge of a technical nature.
