Job Summary
The Service Desk Administrator is responsible for providing technical support, systems administration, and endpoint management for Vanteo and its affiliated business lines. This role serves as a key member of the Tech team, supporting users, devices, cloud services, and security initiatives while ensuring compliance with organizational technology standards and security policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional technical support and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to technology and security-related incidents and requests.
- Manage and prioritize service desk tickets, ensuring compliance with established response and escalation procedures.
- Communicate effectively with users regarding issue status, resolution timelines, and best practices.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and support company-managed endpoint devices.
- Administer device management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and related endpoint management tools.
- Maintain accurate inventories of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets.
- Support technology procurement activities, including hardware and software purchasing.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across enterprise systems.
- Assign and maintain appropriate security groups, roles, and permissions.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure secure access management.
- Administer cloud-based systems and SaaS applications.
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO), API integrations, system configurations, and access controls.
- Participate in security audits, application reviews, and compliance-related activities.
- Affiliate with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure reliable technology operations.
- Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, and other business-critical cloud services.
- Enforce technology standards, policies, and security controls.
- Investigate and support the resolution of cybersecurity-related incidents and alerts.
- Collaborate effectively with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and other technology vendors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across IT operations and service delivery.
- Support technical activities associated with mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a customer facing technology support role.
- 3+ years of M365/Google administration experience in an enterprise setting.
- 3+ years of cloud/SaaS administration experience, with working knowledge of SSO.
- 3+ years of AWS Administration experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred, but related degrees will be accepted.
- M365 SharePoint admin experience supporting company intranet sites is a plus.
- Experience with M365 Intune, Autopilot, and remote computer provisioning.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while crossing between various technical roles.
- Ability to manage 3rd party IT managed service providers.
- Ability to navigate security platforms to investigate cybersecurity-related issues.
