Service Designer - long-term contract - flexible location

Responsibilities

• Elevate the end-to-end developer experience of the platform
• Facilitate co-creation workshops with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, developers, product designers, and UX researchers
• Navigate complex and strategic topics through workshops for concept exploration, ideation, and hypothetical journey maps
• Support and enable team members to run such sessions
• Identify and propose potential opportunities for collaboration to overcome siloed working
• Maintain an overview of the products in the Unit and connect the dots across journeys, personas, and touchpoints
• Work on initiatives and projects involving multiple developer teams to connect the dots
• Collaborate with UX writer and UX researcher to improve information architecture of the Developer Portal
• Create and collaborate on alignment diagrams to visualize processes, product components, and user touchpoints
• Improve the Process Blueprint guiding from input gathering to problem definition, solution definition, implementation, and evaluation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in a design consultancy or equivalent position
• Proven track record of shipped services and products
• Demonstrated experience of working with complex digital products, enterprise products, and tech ecosystems
• Deep expertise in human-centered design and service design
• Ability to visualize the service experience through different diagrams
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex matters in a simple manner
• Active listening, ability to understand and address points of tension, and challenge others constructively
• Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaboratively and driven by group critique
• Excellent graphic design and typographic skills (a plus)
