About the role

EY Financial Services is a unique, industry-focused business unit within EY’s Global Technology Consulting competency. It provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. The Technology Change Delivery (TCD) practice works with clients to analyze, formulate, design, mobilize, and drive strategic transformation initiatives. TCD is comprised of three main competencies: Agile Transformation, Transformation Management (TMO), and Project Management as a Service (PMaaS).

Responsibilities

  • Support projects for Technology Change Delivery, either on a standalone workstream or for multiple elements within a client engagement.
  • Deliver high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Maintain and monitor progress, identify and escalate risks/issues, and keep key stakeholders informed on progress and outcomes.
  • Build client relationships, foster an innovative culture, and mentor junior consultants.
  • Participate in the sales program and support practice development activities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of post-bachelor's work experience (or 2 years for Master’s degree); at least two (2) years of which must be relevant work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services.
  • Broad knowledge of the IT function and how IT enables the business through effective strategic planning, governance, and management discipline.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing client demands.
  • Remain current on technology advancements and obtain certifications required to drive advisory services capabilities.
  • Experience in project delivery including configurations, release management, and change management as well as knowledge of integration plans, integration reports, and test procedures.
  • Experience in scheduling and delivering implementations that include multiple components with tight interdependencies between these components.
  • Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes such as PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, CMMI, product management, systems development life cycles.
  • Experience using tools such as Rally, Jira, Jira Align, MS Power Platform, Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Relevant industry certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master/Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe DevOps, Leading SAFe, Lean Six Sigma (Any), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM)).

Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in contributing to the growth of the Technology Consulting practice.
  • The ability to be nimble, take initiative, and seek out opportunities to improve current relationships and prioritize participation in practice initiatives.

Skills and Attributes

  • Domain experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, and/or Wealth and Asset Management.
  • Strong technology project management background with experience in enterprise change and technology management, data, infrastructure, or related software platforms.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing, and conference-level presentation skills a plus.

Benefits

Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Pay

Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
