Service Deli Clerk TFM

About the Role

As a Service Deli Clerk at Tony's Fresh Market, LLC, you will provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders while delivering exceptional customer service. You will stock cases, maintain product displays, and ensure a variety of high-quality deli items are available. Compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements, along with cleaning and sanitizing duties, are key parts of this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and build rapport with customers, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude.
• Respond to customer questions effectively and assist with orders for deli services.
• Provide product suggestions and handle special orders.
• Stock products and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
• Perform basic department cleaning and upkeep.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products.
• Operate slicers and sharp objects safely to execute duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense of detail.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• Work in a retail environment with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud.
• Adapt to a colder work environment typical of a deli area.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00. Individual pay is determined by location and factors such as skills, relevant work experience, and education/training.
