About the role
The Service Control Specialist coordinates, manages, implements, and performs technical product support for equipment installed. Key responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining Building Automation Systems (BAS), handling emergency service calls, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing systems, and completing service reports.
Responsibilities
- Supports customer's BAS by handling emergency and scheduled service calls
- Analyzes system requirements and performs system checks and tests
- Performs preventive maintenance and diagnostics on BAS systems and components
- Tests system readings to ensure optimal operation
- Identifies additional chargeable opportunities and prices new work
- Completes service repairs, replacements, upgrades, adjustments, and calibrations
- Submits service reports and orders in a timely manner
- Works with internal teams and external service providers to resolve system issues
Requirements
- Minimum 2-year post-secondary degree in BAS or related field
- 4+ years of experience and knowledge directly related to BAS
- Advanced skills in programming, graphics, and commissioning on Schneider Electric products
- General knowledge of competitive systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
Qualifications
- 4-year degree with a concentration in BAS preferred
- Advanced experience in the BAS industry
