Service Center Repair Technician - Entry Level

About the role

This role is located at Geek Squad City, our 240,000-square-foot repair center in Brooks, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Answer customers' questions regarding cost, product installation, operation and issue prevention
• Troubleshoot products for repair and complete routine functionality and quality testing
• Document repair work and customer communications
• Partner with leadership to manage work-in-process repairs
• Track units and corresponding parts to ensure customer satisfaction and inventory integrity
• Stay up to date with company-provided vendor certifications and trainings

Requirements

• 6 months of experience troubleshooting and repairing technology products
• 6 months of experience using Microsoft Office
• Able to stand and sit for long periods of time
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized
• Able to lift weight up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation
• Able to multitask and demonstrate strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Consumer electronics manufacturer repair certification (preferred)
• 6 months of experience using proprietary or inventory-related systems
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (preferred)
