Overview
Group 1 Toyota Rivertown is hiring for a Service Cashier — a key customer-facing role responsible for finalizing service transactions and ensuring a smooth, positive checkout experience for our service customers. This position supports the service department by accurately processing payments, coordinating with service advisors, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction in line with our standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
- Inspect service repair orders and parts invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile repair orders and ensure proper documentation
- Calculate charges for materials, labor, taxes, and warranty as applicable
- Collect payments (cash, check, or authorized charge) and provide receipts/change
- Document charge purchases per office policies
- Complete accounting sections of repair orders as directed
- Accumulate and submit all closed repair orders and invoices daily
- Handle and account for daily cash transactions
- Return customer keys upon payment and direct them to their vehicles
- Answer service department calls, transfer appropriately, and take messages when needed
