Service Carpenter

About the role

Septagon Construction is seeking a hard‑working, highly motivated, and responsible candidate for an intermediate‑level Full‑Time Service Carpenter position. The role involves physically demanding, high‑risk work at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work with finishing material such as trim, wall panels, and repairing metal structures and roofs.
• Work with exterior doors.
• Complete miscellaneous demolition work.
• Perform paving and concrete jobs.
• Undertake remodel work.
• Wear safety harnesses when operating personal lifts or working on roof surfaces or decks to reduce fall risk.
• Perform physically demanding, high‑risk work at heights, outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Occasionally stay overnight for out‑of‑town projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in carpentry or construction.
• Willingness to learn and ability to follow direction closely.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety‑conscious.
• Well‑rounded in various areas of commercial construction.
