Service Carpenter

About the role

A Team Home Services is seeking a Carpenter to support and grow our handyman and remodeling departments. This role involves executing a variety of carpentry, installation, repair, and finish work on both residential and light commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, finish work, trim, and installations
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, molding, and other structural and finish components
• Diagnose and complete repairs on damaged or deteriorating structures (walls, floors, roofs, etc.)
• Complete punch-out work and final detail items to ensure high-quality finished projects
• Read and interpret project plans, measurements, and specifications
• Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, cleanliness, and organization on job sites
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job notes
• Communicate clearly with customers on-site and represent the company professionally
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in carpentry or residential construction
• Strong carpentry skillset (framing, trim, cabinetry, installations)
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work

Pay & Growth Structure

This role is designed for a skilled tradesperson who wants consistent work, strong earning potential, and opportunity for growth. The pay is $25-$40/hour based on experience, with the potential to earn up to $120,000 annually with bonus potential. This is a stable, full-time position with a consistent schedule.
