Service Associate
Position Summary
This role is responsible to provide highly satisfactory service and assistance to guests; bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles for guests, retrieve carts from parking area, perform bottle tasks and janitorial duties as needed. Ensure that the shift contributes to the financial best interests of the store. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
Here's What You’ll Do
- Use proper bagging supplies and proper bagging techniques when handling guests' purchases.
- Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines & bottle return area.
- Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts and take out and load groceries into customers’ vehicles.
- Know the location of products in the store.
- Able to work independently of others.
- Perform cleaning duties as well as other assigned work in a timely manner.
Here’s What You’ll Need
- A High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
Physical Requirements
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
- Subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Subject to noise levels in the work environment which are usually low to moderate.
